Really, this is PRAISE and ADORATION
We express our love for God, glorify His majesty, power and might; acknowledge our dependence on Him, and rest in His presence.
- Praise refers to extolling the qualities and greatness of God
St. Francis of Assisi's Prayer in Praise of God
- Adoration refers to time and prayer in front ofthe Blessed Sacrament
(Christ present in the Holy Eucharist),
either in the tabernacle or as exposed in the monstrance.
-Praise. This form can be easily done in nature, in awe of the beauty of creation.
Or with bodily movement, such as standing with raised arms or dancing.
-Adoration. You don’t have to “do” anything during Adoration.
Just "be" with the One "Who Is".
Kneeling, sitting, standing, and even laying on the floor
before the Blessed Sacrament are all appropriate forms of prayer.
-Praise. Meditate on a quality of God.
For example, God created heaven and earth. Try to picture it unfolding and bless it.
-Adoration. Put yourself on a schedule for adoration at your local church, or get one started!
Create a "prayer space" in your home, an altar which reminds you
to exalt the greatness of God, the power of your Savior.

Holy God, We Praise Thy Name
Learn and play along with Matt Maher's "Adoration"
With awe, we can adore and accompany Christ in His Passion as we play "Stabat Mater"
We have heard that the Holy Spirit is like a fire. Have you ever physically felt the warmth of the Holy Spirit?
An interesting word that most people haven't heard. Hesychastic prayer is different from the modern "centering" prayers.
During Eucharistic Adoration, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed in a monstrance.
